A relatively new (2001) Private nature reserve. It was previously used for Mineral extraction. Well watched so things seem to turn up regularly

 | 26th Dec 2007 | Draycote Water
Draycote Water is owned by Severn Trent Water.
It's a new location for me and the first visit was in fog and I was looking for a white duck !!

 | 5th Dec 2007 | Whitacre Heath NR - Birds
Whitacre Heath NR belongs to Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and is my nearest reserve.
It consists of 109 Acres of Pools, Wetland, Woodland and Grassland.
This is a list of the Birds that I have seen.

This might seem like a strange title, but there is logic honest. Anyway the important thing is to enjoy the photographs of the varied wildlife.
This is a diary of my exploits as I get to grips with things that move when you point a lens at them.
All of the images will be taken in Gods county of Warwickshire unless otherwise stated and the majority will be taken within 10 miles of my home using either :-
1) Canon 350d or Canon 30d with:-
Canon100 - 400 IS zoom
Tamron 200-500
Sigma 180 Macro
2) Nikon P5100 + Kowa TSN824 scope + 20-60zep
3) Fuji S9600
I hope you enjoy them.
